Health and Safety Policy

For the purposes of this policy, “Lemoine” refers to Lemoine Development Corporation, Mach2D Solutions Inc., and any entity wholly owned or operated by them. This definition excludes all independent resellers, including but not limited to Lemoine Limited (UK) and Lemoine Europe (Italy), which operate as separate legal entities.


Purpose

Lemoine is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and customers. We recognize our responsibility to take every reasonable precaution to prevent injury, illness, and unsafe conditions in the workplace and during business-related activities.

Scope

This Policy applies to all Lemoine employees, contractors, and representatives while conducting company business, whether working from company premises, remote locations, customer facilities, or while traveling on behalf of the company.

General Commitment

Lemoine is committed to:

  • Complying with all applicable health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Identifying and minimizing workplace hazards where reasonably practicable.
  • Promoting safe work practices and employee awareness.
  • Providing appropriate information and guidance regarding workplace health and safety responsibilities.

Employee Responsibilities

All employees are expected to:

  • Conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Follow applicable safety procedures and customer site requirements.
  • Report any workplace hazards, incidents, injuries, or near misses to management as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Use company equipment in a safe and intended manner.
  • Refrain from engaging in any activity that may endanger themselves or others.

Customer Site Visits

When visiting customer facilities, employees shall:

  • Comply with all site-specific health and safety requirements communicated by the customer.
  • Follow all posted safety signage and instructions.
  • Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering designated areas.
  • Avoid operating machinery, equipment, or tools unless specifically authorized and trained to do so.
  • Immediately report any safety concerns encountered during a site visit.

Lemoine personnel generally provide software-related services, demonstrations, consulting, training, and technical support and do not perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, or machine operation as part of normal business activities.

Remote and Office Work

Employees working remotely or in office environments are expected to:

  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • Use computer equipment and office furnishings in an ergonomically appropriate manner.
  • Take reasonable measures to reduce fatigue and repetitive strain injuries.
  • Report any work-related injury or health concern to management promptly.

Incident Reporting

All work-related incidents, injuries, illnesses, property damage, or near misses should be reported to management promptly. Management will review reported incidents and take reasonable corrective action where appropriate.

Continuous Improvement

Lemoine will periodically review this Policy and its health and safety practices to support ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.

Policy Responsibility

Management is responsible for implementing and maintaining this Policy. All employees share responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
